Diane Locke is a Senior Associate of Weiss International Ltd. She is a seasoned professional with over twenty years of Leadership Development experience including executive assessment and coaching, training and development, and organizational design consulting. She specializes in conducting comprehensive leadership psychometric assessments which generates a thorough perspective of the leaders’ strengths and development areas as compared to established executive and leadership norms. Her client list includes a broad range of organizations in the private and public sectors.
Previously, Diane created and led the Leadership Effectiveness Department at American Express, where she was responsible for leadership development, coaching, employee engagement, and internal communication. In addition, she has worked as a Leadership Development Specialist at Scotiabank, and she has done associate work with several prominent human resource consulting firms.
The assessment and coaching services Diane provides are customized to recognize the unique qualities of the individual. Using a selection of assessment tools, she works with clients to understand their behaviours, values, motivators, personal attributes and talents. Drawing on a range of techniques and models, she structures her coaching interventions to suit the needs of the person she is working with. The purpose of this approach is to create an environment for individual growth, purposeful action, and sustained improvement.
Diane obtained her Masters Degree in Psychology from the Adler School of Professional Psychology and she holds an Honours Bachelor of Business Administration from Wilfrid Laurier University. She is certified to administer and interpret assessment instruments including the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator, the Birkman, and the Herrmann Brain Dominance Indicator. Diane is an invited speaker and facilitator at conferences and a member of several professional associations.
